Anyone who has a hobby of collecting decoration items and collectibles will admit that it is an enjoyable past time and provides a diversion from daily hassles. Collection of decorative items and collectibles is restricted by two factors: availability of money and space. The collectibles could be souvenirs, antiques or even sports memorabilia.

Collectors collect memorabilia from just about any field of interest .The depth and breadth of the collection may also vary. Just a little bit of innovation and creativity is required to convert your collection into an asset. For example, you can use your dining table as a permanent display area. Thus when you have those special dinners all that you need to do is to add the plates and food as the table is already decorated. A golden rule to remember while displaying collectibles is to display them in a group. A group of items almost always catch the attention of the visitors as compared to single items scattered around the room. Use as many of your collectibles you can everyday in your home. It will only add to the enjoyment of them. Another way to display your collectibles is to group all items related only by color. For instance a combination of blue glass and blue pottery would be eye catching.
